Our World and You

In our accelerated and highly pressurised world that's constantly shifting, it can be a challenge trying to “surf the waves” of unfamiliar change and ambiguity.

  • Are you a leader in transition taking up a new role with broader geographical and/or business remit and finding this an uncomfortable stretch?

  • Are you finding it harder to find your drive and stay resilient with constant change and ever-increasing, ever-shifting expectations from stakeholders?

  • With the accelerated internal and external changes, are you doubting your ability to be an inspirational, authentic leader with executive presence?

  • You are already extremely successful yet you know more of the same isn’t going to make you happy.  Do you suspect there’s got to be something more but not sure what?

I can help.

How I Work

It can be scary heading into the unknown, into the often unchartered waters of change. I work by creating a safe space where, together we explore where you currently are and where you’d like to be; and more importantly how to get there. We will do this through a process that uses thought provoking questions and various models that may at times be challenging but always supportive and authentic.

I Believe

I believe in human potential

Every individual has the ability to tap into their full potential

I believe that a failure does not define you

A failure is a lesson, not a death sentence; it shows you what didn’t work so you know what to try next

I believe in owning your mistakes as well as your successes

Ownership of the good and the bad means we take responsibility for our lives

I believe that we always have a choice

We may not choose what happens to us but we can choose how we react

I believe that you can teach an old dog new tricks

It’s never too late to change or to learn something new

I believe that it’s ok to be scared and doing it anyway

Pushing yourself out of your comfort zone is where real growth occurs

I believe that to be truly happy and successful you need to be your authentic self

Being true to who you are and your deepest values is your internal compass to making decisions that fulfil your purpose

And that requires work

Testimonials

Enko came into my life during a critical period of my career. Having been in the corporate environment for 15 years, it was clear that something in my life was not working.  I was experiencing workplace difficulties with extreme personalities in the office that were causing a hostile work environment for my team. He helped me work through many complex issues and channel my energy into creating a more productive and conducive workplace environment. As soon as I met Enko I knew he was different from the other coaches I had tried before. He's extremely professional, has had his own success in the industry and with his coaching techniques was able to quickly help me hone in on issues that I wasn't aware of. He also helped me form ways to handle and triangulate through difficult milestones. Years later, his voice still pops into my head as the little career coach in my head.

Marketing Director, Media

"When Enko started coaching me, I felt like I was stuck in a hamster wheel at work.  Overworked with an average of 70 hours per week for more than 10 months.  The sessions I had helped me be less emotional at work which allowed me to focus on key priorities that generated the greatest business impact resulting in a 15% reduction in my hours.  The hours are still long but one of the main benefits from coaching with Enko is that I am calmer and able to switch off from work once I leave.  I can only recommend Enko as a coach.  You will learn a lot about yourself.  "

Marketing Director, Automotive

"Enko’s coaching provided a toolset to navigate a challenging transition in my professional career. We began by identifying core values and exploring how those were lived out in my career and what opportunities I should engage to better embody those values... Thank you Enko for your mentorship and coaching. I am a more capable leader and effective partner due to our work together."

President, Ad Agency

“I was preparing for a transition in my career as I was stepping into a bigger and more challenging role. Enko came in with great enthusiasm, positivity and very quickly established a foundation of trust which made me comfortable in opening up to him. During the sessions he was extremely observant as he easily picked up and focused on certain statements which made me realise that some challenges came from areas I would never have thought of. At the beginning of each session a clear goal always established and during the session Enko would always check in if I felt that we were still on track to cover the goal.
My time with Enko has definitely been a great investment as I felt better prepared for my new challenges. I was became much more aware of my strengths and how to use them effectively, while on the other hand I came to be more mindful of my weaknesses and better equipped to work around them while at the same time continuously improve step by step. Improvements which I will probably always keep working on.

FAQs

Your Questions Answered

Want to know a bit more about me or my coaching services? I’ve compiled a list of some of the most popular questions I’ve received from clients and their answers.  Can’t find what you’re looking for? Please get in touch and I’ll be happy to help.

How do I know if coaching is right for me?

Do you want assistance yet aren’t sure what assistance it is that you need? Perhaps you are considering making a career move or that you suspect that there is something “more” but you’re not sure what that “more” is? If so, that may be a good indicator that the timing is right for you to have a Coach. Generally, a desire for coaching often arise from:

  1. A change in circumstance that requires a new skill.

  2. Feeling “stuck” and continually "bumping" into things.

What outcomes can I expect from coaching?

Successful coaching can result in these outcomes:

  1. Greater clarity in terms of what you want and the actions needed to achieve it.

  2. Better ability to self manage.

  3. Enhanced quality of thinking and decision making.

  4. Improved ability to self-correct and take the desired actions during key moments of choice.

Clients frequently experience a greater sense of purpose and fulfillment through successful coaching.

What kind of time commitment does coaching require?

Sessions generally last an hour and take place every few weeks. There will be actions that come out of our sessions that should be completed before the next session.   However they should be manageable and not impact greatly on your daily routine.

How will I know if you’re the right coach for me?

Please contact me for a free 25 minute consultation where I can answer any questions you may have about coaching and your expectations.  You will get a feel of what it’s like to be coached by me during this free session.

I also encourage clients to meet several coaches and to work with the one they feel most comfortable with.  Coaching works best when there is trust between the client and coach.

How much does coaching cost with you?

I believe that coaching should be available to everyone irrespective of their financial circumstances such as the unemployed or students.  I therefore charge on a sliding scale with a maximum of HKD5,500 to a minimum HKD1,500 for a 60 minutes session.

I also ask clients to self identify what fee they are able to pay with the view of making sessions sustainable for at least 6 to 8 sessions as a frame of reference.
